We moved to this house in 2011 from Tokyo with two kids who were 4 and 2 years old back then. It was our dream to live in a house with a garden in the beautiful nature ever since kids were born. We were so happy to finally find this house with the ideal location and perfect size for my family. Children grew up in this house, ran around the garden surrounded by various trees and flowers, and giggled to the birds’ singing. As a whole family, we enjoyed gardening, doing picnic in our garden in a good weather, and went on a family hiking to the mountain Rokko along the mountain path only several steps away. How many precious memories were made for eight years in this house! We cherish every single one of them.
Sadly, we are moving to Canada this summer and have to say goodbye to this house. It is truly heartbreaking to sell this house because at every corner of the house, we can find our family’s episodes and memories. It’s our strong wish that we want to find a family who will love this house just as we did and appreciate and enjoy blessings that this house will offer. Here are several great things about our house.
We’ve found that living in this house was just like living in a quiet and peaceful forest. We woke up to birds’ singing, breathed in fresh air full of the fragrance of the flowers and the trees in our garden and also delivered from the forest nearby. It’s amazing because just several minutes driving from the train station(Rokko), and you will find a whole different surrounding! Walking on the street, we always run into the friendly neigbors greeting us with big smiles and sometimes with their cute companions. We have pet walking community in my neighborhood, and almost everyday, humans and pets enjoy walking all together to share their daily stories.
Large space with 5 rooms and 2 toilets
5LDK 3 story house. Land is 233.29m²(1,450ft²), and house 134.7m². On the second floor, which has a main entrance, there are a living room with a fireplace, dining space, a kitchen with a flat and wide platform and enough storage, and a toilet. On the first floor, there are 1 office room and 1 play room with a direct entrance to the garden. Three bedrooms with good views, a bathroom with 2 wash basins, and a toilet are located on the third floor. You will find this house to be quite smartly designed and conveniently organized for a family with kids to be compared with ordinary Japanese-style houses.
European style, fully renovated interior
Once you see this house, I bet you will love its surroundings and its exterior, which definitely has a European taste. Its interior with a fireplace on the wall and wide windows of double frames, are also of an European style, so you will feel like you are in a house somewhere in Europe, which provides a unique experience in Japan.
